On Wednesday 20 October 2010 at Southport State High School Gold Coast Blaze announced the BRAKE Gold Coast Blaze Ambassadors as part of the Blaze continued partnership with BRAKE in relation to young drivers.
Chris Goulding and Adam Gibson our our BRAKE Gold Coast Blaze Ambassadors this year. That two such high profile and talented players are willing to be ambassadors and give time and effort to our young people is not only fantastic for BRAKE and great support for our young people, it is also a massive reflection of both Chris and Adam. We at BRAKE are just so pleased, and proud, to have pople like Chris and Adam in the BRAKE family.
We welcome Chris back as he was one of the inaugral BRAKE Gold Coast Blaze Ambassadors last year. The filming that Chris did for us last year has been in use in the program and is very well received. Both Chris and Adam did some filimg for us on Wednesday for inclusion in the course. The pieces that they did look fantastic and once complete we'll put them up on our site. I'm sure you'll agree that they did very well, the films will be important components of the program.
The Blaze support and assistance didn't stop there. Joey Wright, the Gold Coast Blaze coach, also did a film for us for inclusion in the program. Joey's piece wil introduce the program to students and set the scene for what the program is about. This piece from Joey is greatly appreciated and I believe will be quite a strong opening for the program. To have someone like Joey helping our youth is terrific and I strongly believe that his standing and achievements in sport will ensure that a lot of young people will appreciate what he has to say. We at BRAKE are so appreciative to Joey for his time and support, and powerful piece. Isn't it great to have people like Joey supporting our young people and communities and do what he can to help. We'll put this piece on the site once we have finished editing it.
